The Insignificance Perspective
Look! Squirrel! - The Insignificance Perspective

Commentary

When the mind feels small, it immediately starts a self-improvement project. The deeper Self doesn’t become bigger. It recognizes there were never any real boundaries to begin with.

The Capybara mistakes being physically small within nature for being insignificant. The Squirrel responds with an elaborate self-esteem improvement program, while Flower Capybara quietly recognizes something completely different: the vastness surrounding the Capybara is the same vastness they are part of. No argument. No lecture. Just a contrasting perspective expressed through the heart.

I want whatever the Flower Capybara is having.

Question: When I feel small, why do I believe my thoughts instead of noticing and observing what’s already here?
