The Self-Detection Device
Look! Squirrel! #4
We often turn the search for our deepest nature into another project for the mind to manage. The mind assumes that if something is important, it must require more information, more tools, more preparation, and more effort?while the deeper Self is already quietly present.
The Squirrel assumes the solution is increasingly elaborate technology. The joke is that the deeper Self isn't hard to hear because it's weak. It's hard to hear because the mind keeps making more noise. The visual absurdity carries the humor while the Flower Capybara remains gentle and non-preachy.
Question: What am I adding to the search that might be making it harder to notice what's already here?
